Two of the most effective skin tightening treatments available in Northampton are Morpheus8 and radiofrequency (RF) microneedling. They sound similar, and they are related — but they are not the same, and choosing the right one matters.
How they work
Both combine tiny needles with radiofrequency energy. The needles create micro-channels and the radiofrequency heats the deeper layers of the skin, triggering collagen remodelling and tightening. Morpheus8 can reach greater depths, which makes it especially useful for laxity along the jawline, lower face and neck, as well as body areas.
Which is right for me?
For texture, pores, fine lines and mild scarring, RF microneedling is often enough. For loose skin, jowling, deeper scarring or a softening jawline, Morpheus8's depth usually gives a more noticeable result. Nadya will assess your skin at consultation and recommend the one that fits — not the more expensive one by default.
Downtime
Expect redness and a sunburnt feeling for one to three days, with tiny grid marks that fade within a week. Most people return to work within a day or two with makeup.
How many sessions?
Most clients see the best results from a course of three sessions about four to six weeks apart. Collagen keeps building for up to three months after the final session.
Realistic results
These treatments tighten and refine — they are not a facelift. The improvement is gradual and natural, which is exactly why so many of our Northampton clients prefer them.
