Only what the site needs

This page lists every cookie and similar technology used on the NAS Beauty website, what each one does and how long it lasts.

We use only strictly necessary cookies — the ones needed to take a booking, keep card payments secure and let staff sign in. There is no marketing tracking or third-party analytics on this site — our visit counts are anonymous and kept in-house — so there is nothing optional to accept or reject.

These are set because the site cannot work properly without them. They are not used to track you and are never shared for advertising.

• sidebar:state — remembers whether the admin sidebar is open or closed. Staff only; never set for ordinary visitors. Lasts 7 days.
• Staff login session (secure authentication token) — keeps Nadya signed in to the admin area. Staff only; never set for ordinary visitors. Lasts until sign-out or until the session expires.
• __stripe_mid — set by Stripe to recognise the device and prevent card fraud. Set only when you reach the deposit payment step of a booking. Lasts about 1 year.
• __stripe_sid — set by Stripe to link the steps of a single payment together. Set only when you reach the deposit payment step of a booking. Lasts about 30 minutes.

The location map on our Contact and Home pages does not load automatically. You will see a placeholder with a “Load map” button, and nothing is requested from Google until you press it.

• Google Maps cookies (NID and similar) — set by Google if, and only if, you choose to load the map. They are used by Google for preferences, security and its own measurement. They typically last up to about 6 months.

If you never press “Load map”, no Google cookies are set and no information about your visit is sent to Google. You can always view our location using the “Open in Google Maps” link instead, which takes you to Google's own site.

We do not use Google Analytics, the Meta/Facebook pixel, TikTok tracking, advertising tags, heatmaps, session recording or any other third-party analytics or marketing tracker anywhere on this site.

So we know roughly how busy the site is, we keep a simple count of page visits and bookings on our own server. No cookie is set for this, nothing is stored in your browser, and we do not keep your IP address — visits are counted using a scrambled code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you or linked to your next visit. These counts are never used for advertising and are never shared.

We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or share browsing data with anyone. Our website fonts are hosted on our own site, so loading a page does not send your details to any third party.

If this ever changes, this page will be updated first and you will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookie is set.

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies listed above may stop parts of the site working — in particular, card payments for booking deposits may fail.
